After a bit of turbulence last week, we’re happy to announce that Voidblazers is now available!

Voidblazers is a story-driven shmup game for Playdate. Join the crew of Icarus as they travel across the galaxy, battle various fleets, and encounter new friends and enemies on their daring mission. Battle 3 unique fleets in 25 action-packed missions, and discover more of the story as you shop for ship upgrades, crew members, and other items.

We’re excited for all of you to get your hands on this game that we’ve been working on for the past year, and hope you’ll enjoy this passion project as much as we enjoyed making it!

The easiest way to get Voidblazers on your Playdate is by sideloading it from your play.date account page. Alternatively, you can connect your device to a computer and manually copy over the PDX to the games/ folder.
